Expanding the CT 250 driver line into the customized weighting category, the new CT 250 Flight Control uses a tungsten weight system to customize the head for specific shot types. The key to the system is the weight of the tungsten, approximately 14 grams, that can be placed into either a draw biased position, a neutral position, or a fade bias position. Heel chamber weighting yields the draw bias, toe chamber weighting yields a fade bias and rear chamber weighting yields a neutral position. A rubber sealer also provides sound dampening that greatly improves the sound and feel of the head.
The CT 250 Flight Control body is Cast from 6/4 Titanium for better consistency in size and strength. The casting process used in the manufacturing of the Flight Control titanium head is the same used by most high end Titanium brands and provides a structural integrity and consistency not seen in 4-piece forged titanium metal woods. The face is forged under extremely high temperatures from a high strength SP-700 beta titanium. The forging process used on the face yields a tighter grain structure for more strength. The variable face thickness design incorporated into the Flight Control drivers expands the performance area of the face.
The CT 250 Flight Control Drivers can be ordered with either a draw bias, neutral, or fade bias. The tungsten weights are interchangeable, offering the ultimate in customization. Four lofts are available: 8.5, 9.5 10.5 and 12 degrees, with the 10.5 and 12 degree models incorporating a .5 degree closed face.
