The Maltby team first introduced the Logic Lady line of clubs back in 1999 and the success of the line since has been amazing. For 2007 The Maltby design team continues the commitment to the continuously growing women’s segment of golfers. The new L’Tech line of clubs is designed to meet the needs of women golfer's and the specific way they play.

The new L’Tech Titanium driver comes in at 450cc's. This new size enhances the forgiveness on off-center hits (higher MOI). Also the sled design sole helps keep the center of gravity low and to the rear which aids in getting the ball airborne.

The key feature of the fairway and hybrids is the new radius sled sole design. This sole design on the fairways and hybrids acts like bounce on an iron and also eliminates sole surface area when the sole hits the ground.

This means the sole has less sole surface drag and no tendency to take a divot or dig in during the hit. The sled design also locates more mass in the sole lowering the actual vertical center of gravity which aids in getting the ball airborne to the optimum trajectory. Combine these features with special ladies lofts and slightly shallower face heights and you have one of the most solid feeling easily playable women's clubs ever developed.

Every hit will feel much more soIid and the ball flight will provide much more consistent distance, accuracy and trajectory with the new L’Tech irons. This design imparts more backspin, so you simply line up, swing down and through the ball and let the technology of the L'Tech design take over.

To complete the concept, the L’Tech line of shafts were designed with weight and bending properties. specifically for the way women golfers swing. Three distinct flexes were designed because not all women swing exactly the same. These flexes are: a soft flex (LL) for the 25+ handicap players who need help getting the ball in the air, a Medium flex (L) for the 15-30 handicap players who may need a little less kick, and a firm flex (A) for women with handicaps of 20 or less who have slightly higher clubhead speeds and make more consistent contact.

MALTBY LTECH IRON

The game improvement features in the LTech iron design provide the following huge benefit. When you swing the club you can purposely try to swing down and through the ball. After the ball is struck, the special features of the sole design will contact the ground and instead of digging in will glide over the surface with no divot resistance. Every hit will feel much more solid and the ball flight will provide much more consistent distance, accuracy and trajectory.

This design will impart more backspin; so you simply line up, swing down and through the ball and let the technology of the LTech design take over.

•Wider, four way radiused sole with increased front to back radius (camber) prevents digging into the ground
•Shallow blade profile keep center of gravity very low in the clubhead (the lowest ever developed for a women’s iron)
•More toe and heel weighting for a higher moment of inertia prevents clubhead twisting and promotes a solid and forgiving hit
•Longer blade lengths stabilize the clubhead and expands effective sweetspot
•Progressive offset, with more offset in the longer irons, helps square the blade at impact
•Low center of gravity
•4° bounce angle prevents digging in
•Match with LTech graphite shafts, available in 3 women’s flexes, designed specifically for the LTech irons
