Genesis Flight Control Fairway Woods have two removable screws to allow for customization of both swingweight and launch angle. Each wood comes pre-assembled with a 10g screw in the rear and a 3.5g screw in the forward position. The shipped weight is that of a normal fairway wood, but one designed to promote a higher launch angle and remain more stable on off center shots. Most golfers will find this to be the preferable screw configuration. The screws can be reversed to slightly lower ball flight and increase the ability of the golfer to “work” the ball. More accomplished golfers may find this screw configuration to be best for them.
Keeled Sole.
Additional screws can be purchased to allow for heavier or lighter head weights to customize swingweights at different lengths. No more need for putting lead tape on the head for players preferring heavier swingweights or those seeking a slightly shorter club for more control. For those doing overlength assembly with steel shafts, the lightest screws can be used to achieve normal swingweights
