In the tradition of the very successful M-04 and M-05 irons, the new M-45 offers players who demand a traditional look a truly playable players' muscle cavity design. The M-45 incorporates subtle design modifications that increase playability. These changes include a slightly longer blade length, slightly wider soles, and a shorter hosel. By making these changes, the M-45 “blade” profile performs like a Game Improvement iron, with the classic profile many players prefer.

M-45 irons are form forged from 8620 carbon steel to provide an incredibly soft feel and easy bendability. The progressive cavity design allows for more perimeter and sole weighting in the long and mid irons for more forgiveness, moving to a more centralized mass distribution in the short irons. The top line is beveled to appeal to those players who prefer a thinner top line. The leading edge is “tour” ground and beveled to prevent digging and the trailing edge of the sole is beveled to prevent snagging on takeaway.

The 2 iron through the 9 iron have 3 degrees of bounce to provide proper sole to ground contact through the impact area. The irons feature a consistent minimal offset of .100", the preferred offset specification of better players. The unique geometric cut cavity makes the M-45 one of the best looking cavity designs available. The cavity is bead blasted and provides a great contrast to the semi-polish finish.
