MALTBY TROUBLE OUT PLUS FAIRWAY WOOD HEADS

A first in golf club design, the new Trouble Out Plus “bounce” sole design reduces digging and actually causes the club head to glide over the ground. A heavy tungsten weight centered in low in the sole lowers the Trouble Out Plus's center of gravity for incredible feel and performance.

The design process for the Trouble Out Plus was performance specific. Design a fairway metal wood with the heaviest. tungsten weight possible in the sole, to place the center of gravity as low as possible. To do this, the shell had to be designed : extremely thin using "Advanced shell Technology", to allow the mass to be concentrated in the sole. The result is a series of fairway woods with the lowest center of gravity possible. Hit the Trouble Outs from any lie, even hit them | thin (low in the clubface) and the shot will feel exceptionally solid and the trajectory will surprise you. The low center of gravity really works and great shots occur more often than you have ever experienced before.

The advantages of the very low center of gravity can easily be negated by improper sole design. To overcome this, we did something that has never been done before, design bounce into the sole area
between the runners.

This revolutionary design feature allows the clubhead to easily pass through fairway grass and turf and cut through any rough grass. An added benefit is the clubhead neither digs into the ground nor bounces off of it. It merely glides through with little resistance. The dual runner sole is another key feature. The runners keep the face square at address, which would normally close due to the bounce sole design. The sharpness of the runners offer no resistance in any impact condition and helps to keep the clubhead aligned to the target as both sharp runners cut through the turf or grass. The Trouble Out design incorporates more technological features than any other fairway metal we have ever developed. This revolutionary club will help anyone who plays golf play better.

"THE SECRETS IN THE SOLE"
The sole's actual contact area with the ground is a mere 2" x 1 1/8". This small  contact area is bordered with 2 sharp parallel runners that allow the sole to cut   through any grass condition. The bounce or tilted sole angle design prevents the clubhead from digging and actually causes it to glide over the ground. Couple this penetrating, cutting sole design with a very heavy tungsten weight placed as low as possible in the clubhead and every shot, from every lie, becomes amazingly simple!

"A LOOK FROM THE FACE"
Two sharp runners lead the way through the grass and turf into the impact zone. The increased distance from the shaft's centerline to the clubhead's center of gravity increases the MOI" (larger sweetspot) for more forgiving hits from any impact location. The Tungsten sole weight and thin shell design redistributes the weight, putting the vertical center of gravity location amazingly low in the clubhead for consistently
solid & straight shots.

"A LOOK FROM THE HEEL"
The small contact area of the sole and the raised, streamlined back portion of the clubhead reduces drag. The unique, low-resistance design will not hang up in the grass on takeaway.

"A LOOK FROM THE REAR"
The rear profile shows that the two parallel runners blend into the bounce sole. The toe and heel areas are raised quite high and are also rounded and blended to further reduce drag.
