"THE SECRETS IN THE SOLE"
The sole's actual contact area with the ground is a mere 2" x 1 1/8". This small contact area is bordered with 2 sharp parallel runners that allow the sole to cut through any grass condition. The bounce or tilted sole angle design prevents the clubhead from digging and actually causes it to glide over the ground. Couple this penetrating, cutting sole design with a very heavy tungsten weight placed as low as possible in the clubhead and every shot, from every lie, becomes amazingly simple!
"A LOOK FROM THE FACE"
Two sharp runners lead the way through the grass and turf into the impact zone. The increased distance from the shaft's centerline to the clubhead's center of gravity increases the MOI" (larger sweetspot) for more forgiving hits from any impact location. The Tungsten sole weight and thin shell design redistributes the weight, putting the vertical center of gravity location amazingly low in the clubhead for consistently
solid & straight shots.
"A LOOK FROM THE HEEL"
The small contact area of the sole and the raised, streamlined back portion of the clubhead reduces drag. The unique, low-resistance design will not hang up in the grass on takeaway.
"A LOOK FROM THE REAR"
The rear profile shows that the two parallel runners blend into the bounce sole. The toe and heel areas are raised quite high and are also rounded and blended to further reduce drag. |
